I’m David Mercer, a licensed structural engineer built on one idea: every building deserves calculations you can trust and reports you can actually read.
My Story
Twenty-five years of keeping structures standing
I began in a two-desk drafting office serving local builders who needed fast, honest structural answers. Twenty-five years later I support developers, architects, homeowners and facility managers across the region — but the promise hasn’t changed.
I design new frames, assess ageing structures, document buildings in BIM and inspect sites with the same care I’d give my own home. Every calculation is independently checked, every report is written in plain language, and every recommendation balances safety, cost and buildability.
